Mala Rao worked in Malar Hospitals Pvt.Ltd. for a period of 16 yrs. With qualifications and work experience in diverse fields like Microbiology, Public Administration and Lab Technology, Mala who has been with us for 5 years. She epitomises the APL’s promise of Whole Brain Development. Never one to shy away from a new area of learning, Mala handles Biology classes for grade 9 and 10, Combined Science for middle school, and Home Science for grade 11. 12 and NIOS. Her vibrant approach to all her roles ensures that the students look forward to her classes and readily accept her guidance.

Leena also has a certification in Biotechnology from a reputed university in US. She worked as the Quality Control Chemist in a pharmaceutical company in US. She lived in the US for more than a decade and learnt various international cuisines. She taught Indian culture, values and religion to children in US as a volunteer out of love for our culture and values.
She is passionate about cooking and healthy eating and wants to share the joy with younger generation and adult alike. She has a great appreciation for the system and values followed at APL Global.
Leena teaches Combined Science for middle school and Food and Nutrition for senior school.
Degree and Institution: Doctorate in Plant Physiology with Genetics, Biochemistry and Agricultural Physics as minors from the Indian Agricultural Institute, New Delhi
Vidya continued her learning by pursuing research in national and international institutions for 5 years before turning into a full time mother. While living in Europe, she trained to deliver self development programs that equip the pupil with specific abilities and tools to explore human potential and deliberately shape reality. Later she worked in the hospitality industry in the Netherlands, managing food and facilities in a three star hotel. Her other skills include nature cure and pranic healing, which she practises to support others. Her primary interests in sciences, education and guiding young minds enthused her to take up teaching in schools.
At APL, she is a faculty of Food Studies, Food and Nutrition,
and EVM and EVS (NIOS).
