Degrees and Institution: M.Sc., Applied Chemistry from Coimbatore Institute of Technology; M.Sc., Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University

After a successful career in the marketing field, Sujatha took a break to teach the under-privileged. Having found her passion, she now continues as a Chemistry faculty at APL. She also loves gardening and is passionate about organic farming.

Degrees and Institution: Reena did her B.Sc Chemistry in Nirmala college for women, Coimbatore and B.Ed in St’ Josephs college of education, Ooty.

Reena started her career in Ooty as a Chemistry teacher in Kotagiri Public School where she handled EXEED syllabus for primary section. She then worked as a Science teacher in Kaligi Ranganathan Montford Matric Hr. Sec. School, Chennai.

At APL, she teaches Combined Science to Junior School students.

Degrees and Institution: : M. Sc, Biotechnology; B. Sc, Biotechnology; from Prince Shri Venkateshwara Arts and Science College. Pursuing Ph.D, Industrial Biotechnology in Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai.

Saroja Preethy had worked as a Journal Editor for 2 years in ACES, Chennai before moving to APL She is a strong believer in continuously evolving and growing. She is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge gained. Saroja likes listening to music, painting, cooking and reading about historical monuments and medical journals.

At APL, she teaches Combined Science for junior school.

Degrees and Institution: : M.Sc Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University and B.Ed from St.Ignatius College of Education, Palayamkottai.

Benedict started her career as a PG Chemistry Teacher at Sacred Heart Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Srivilliputhur. She took a break for 7 years for her family before she resumed teaching. She taught in St.Michaels’ School, Chennai, BVM Global, Chennai and Concordia International School, Shanghai before moving to APL.

Having a fruitful teaching experience for about 9 years and handling different curriculums like matriculation, CBSC and IG board, now joined APL as a junior level Science teacher in 2017.

Degrees and Institution: : M.sc Microbiology: St Francis College for Women, Osmania University, Hyderabad, B.Sc- St Francis college for Women ,Hyderabad.

Yusra is passionate about teaching and looks upon teaching as a spiritually satisfying profession.
She had earlier taught children at the individual level and had a brief teaching experience in a school in Chennai before she moved to APL Global School in 2015.

As the Poet Kahlil Gibran writes about teachers-” The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind”, Yusra constantly endeavours to make her students more reflective about their learning than simply imbibe raw facts delivered by the teacher.

She is an ardent supporter of the school’s philosophy of inclusion and acceptance and believes that it forms the grassroots for an inclusive society.

At APL, Yusra teaches Combined Science in Junior School.
